In a decision that will no doubt delight the baseball staff and supporters at Arizona State University, Geelong's Josh Spence (pictured) has opted to stay with the Sun Devils and continue his studies during 2010.

Josh had earlier been drafted as a third round pick with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

While the Angels opportunity must have been attractive, it appears certain that Josh will be in even greater demand for professional ranks in years to come.

Geelong baseball interests continue to follow his progress with interest.
